Labus Consulting Group (LCG) is partnering with the Dental practice of Dr. Stephen Krist and Dr. John Obeck DDS in Tampa, Florida to help their practice strategically plan and transform. Dr. Krist’s practice has been in Tampa for 40 years and Dr. Obeck joined the practice in 2020. The practice is located on Davis Islands, near Tampa General Hospital.
The Dr. Krist and Obeck practice has a true fundamental value of “family dentistry.” Nearly all of Dr. Krist’s patients come by referral either from friends, family members, or from referring dentists. Dr. Krist has built his Tampa dental office on the pillars of integrity and trust and enjoys many patients who have been with him throughout his career. An example, of this culture is by the hiring of Dr. Obeck to join the practice. Dr. Obeck began as a patient of Dr. Krist when he was a child, learned to love dentistry through visits with Dr. Krist and then has continued to build his dental and patient knowledge by joining this wonderful practice.
LCG visited the practice in September and performed a diagnostic of the patient and business experience from pre-visit through post-visit. The diagnostic provided allowed the practice to see how a patient can find, interact, and experience their practice. This diagnostic allows the practice and LCG to work together to strategically plan and implement what is best for the practice and patients over the next 1, 5, and 10 years. Most importantly to this practice is to keep the morals and values that come with their well established “family dentistry.” LCGs strategic plan will help Dr. Krist and Obeck keep their established morals and values but transform their practice to provide their patients with the best experience possible.
